Updating genius on ipod

Rated 4.84/5 based on 882 customer reviews

Leaving me to believe that genius only updated the music in my i Tunes library, not my i Pod library also.

I checked the online manual which told me this: * Using Genius in i Tunes * * Genius automatically makes playlists of songs that go great together.

* Now if part 4 is correct then that will cause some trouble as it has taken me a few weeks to upload all of my cd's (about 70gb so far) and add them to my i Pod.

The thing is, I have been deleting the albums off my Mac once I've added it to my i Pod as to not use up all my hard drive space.

Upon opting-out, i Tunes will no longer send information about your i Tunes library to Apple.

If you have elected to share your library from multiple computers, you need to turn off the Genius feature from each computer.

Presumably if you have deleted music off your computer (and your i Tunes) then you must have your i Pod set to manually manage it's content.

When you use the Genius feature, Apple will use this information and the contents of your i Tunes library, as well as other information, to give personalized recommendations to you.If you see an error message while trying to update your device wirelessly, learn what to do.If you need more space for a wireless update, you can update using i Tunes or delete content manually from your device.Whether you use i Tunes or update wirelessly, you'll have the same amount of free space on your device after you update. If you can’t update wirelessly on your i OS device, you can update manually using i Tunes on a computer that you trust.
