Rss feed not updating in outlook
Many RSS Feeds use messages that contain a summary of a larger message or an article with a link to the full content.
You can configure Outlook to automatically download the linked content as an attachment to the RSS messages.
Click OK to accept your changes and close the dialog box. If you create a Send/Receive group for RSS feeds, you can easily update your RSS feeds manually at any time.
You can also choose to view only today’s RSS feeds using a custom search folder.
If you check for updates more frequently than the specified limit, the RSS Feed publisher can temporarily or permanently block your access.
Neither Microsoft nor Outlook can assist you if your access is suspended or banned by an RSS Feed publisher.
If you don’t want any of your RSS feeds to update automatically, select the Include RSS Feeds in this Send/Receive group check box so there is NO check mark in the box.
If you only want to prevent certain RSS feeds from updating automatically, leave the Include RSS Feeds in this Send/Receive group check box selected (a check mark in the box) and de-select specific RSS feeds in the Feeds list at the bottom of the dialog box. If you have a lot of RSS feeds, preventing some from updating automatically can speed up the Send/Receive process.
However, one scenario where you might consider changing the location is when you are using a Microsoft Exchange Server account and your mailbox has a small storage limit. You can set up the RSS feeds so none of them update automatically, or only certain ones will.To select which RSS feeds update automatically, if any, click the File tab.Step 3: In the RSS Feed Options dialog box, please uncheck the option of Use the Publisher update recommendation. See the following screen shot: Step 4: Click OK and Close to exit two dialog boxes.Step 6: In the Send/Receive Groups dialog box, please click the New button.
